It may only be a small part of one of the competing ObamaCare bills, but it’s a victory nonetheless, and I’ll take my victories where and when they occur:
WASHINGTON—The Senate Finance Committee rejected amendments Tuesday that would add a government-run health-insurance plan to the committee’s health-care legislation, but debate over whether to adopt a public [...]

And now the professional rabble-rousers are themselves being protested:
A group of 30 protesters stood outside a San Diego ACORN office, alerting passerby’s to their discontent with the community organization groups venture into criminal activity.
Since the BigGovernment.com tapes were released a week ago, San Diego Association of Community Organization Reform Now (ACORN) office has been targeted [...]

This sort of speaks for itself:
Democratic political committees have seen a decline in their fundraising fortunes this year, a result of complacency among their rank-and-file donors and a de facto boycott by many of their wealthiest givers, who have been put off by the party’s harsh rhetoric about big business.
The trend is a marked reversal [...]

A lady reader (I am assuming she’s a lady from the name on the email) wrote in to ask an interesting question:
How many of the 75 house members who did not vote to de-fund ACORN were black?
I hope the lady doesn’t mind, but to make it easier, I re-worded the question thus:
How many of the [...]

The latest meme out there seems to be that anyone who criticizes Mr. Obama is automatically racist. Now, on the face of it that seems silly to most non-lefties (and perhaps even many who supported Obama, as I pointed out earlier), but let’s dig a little deeper, shall we?
Most readers here know that I don’t [...]
