And I Thought Crosshairs On Political Things Was Bad, Part Two
In the wake of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, the left told us time and time and time again that putting crosshairs on things like maps was bad, evil, incitement to violence, etc… so where’s the lefty outrage about this?
This is, obviously, a set of crosshairs right on a picture of George Zimmerman. And the Twitter account that photo appears on is actually entitled #KillZimmerman, and includes statements like:
“No Justice No Peace!!!!!!!!!! #KILLZIMMERMAN #KILLZIMMERMAN #KILLZIMMERMAN,”
And…
“we should just all get up and #killzimmerman ourselves; fuck the system. #AintNoJustice”
Even as an example of leftymedia bias, this one is more blatant than most; here we have a Twitter page calling for the cold-blooded murder of a human being, and the left is, as far as I can tell, completely silent about it. MSNBC’s top story as of the time of this writing is about declining bee populations!
I guess, as I have pointed out multiple times before (see here, here, here, here, and here), violent rhetoric is only “bad” when lefties want to use it to bash conservatives. If they’re doing it themselves, why, it’s perfectly alright!
