Blog Terms and Definitions
Here are a few terms and definitions that are being or have been used on A Conservative Wanderer. Some are unique, others are borrowed. Some are humorous, while others are pretty darn close to being accurate.
Chairman – Democrat vice president. Example: Chairman Joe Biden.
Commissar – Democrat congressman/woman or senator. Can also refer to a Democrat presidential staff or cabinet member. Examples: Commissar Pelosi, Commissar Geithner.
commissariat – Usually a group of leftist politicians, but not limited to leftist members of Congress. Can also refer to a leftist presidential cabinet. Example: Obama’s commissariat.
comrade – A left-wing or leftist individual. Can also refer to a Democrat member of Congress.
Deputy – A Democrat presidential staff or cabinet member. Example: Deputy Salazar. See also Commissar.
Deputy Procurator – Democrat deputy attorney general.
dissident – A Democrat who strays from his/her party and sides with the Republicans.
eco-Marxist or eco-Marxism – Leftist environmental extremist or an ideology based on extreme leftist environmental views. Subscribes to the view that “global climate change” or “global warming” is caused by humankind. See also environut.
environut – Usually a leftist environmentalist-driven-to-insanity. This person will go to any lengths to further the environmental agenda, which means they will do anything to accuse the United States and evil, conservative, Republican human beings of destroying the planet. The tools they employ to do their bidding are more often than not clueless, sympathetic citizens and politicians whom they mislead into thinking either the United States or humans are largely to blame for harming “Mother Earth”. They use baseless arguments, erroneous studies, contrived statistics, and ideological propaganda to justify global “climate change”, extinction of certain species of animals, animal abuse, and/or environmental and/or ecological harm caused by man-made pollutants and by the mere existence of mankind. Champions the extremist views of Al Gore.
gauchenista (Fr. gauche meaning “left” and derivative nista from “Sandinista”, referring to a member of the Sandinistas or the Nicaraguan socialist party)–A leftist or left-winger. A socialist or Marxist person. A person representative of leftist ideology.
General Secretary – See Chairman.
Hollyweird – The elitist Hollywood community as a whole, the majority of which is leftist.
MIA – Media In Absentia. Term used to describe so-called “mainstream” left-wing media.
Minister – See Deputy.
Obamaton – An Obama voter and/or supporter who automatically follows a predetermined sequence of operations or responds to encoded instructions.
Premier – Democrat president. Example: Premier Barack Obama.
Politburo – Democrat members of Congress as a collective group.
political prisoner – 1.) One who is falsely imprisoned for upholding the Constitution and laws of the United States. 2.) A victim of leftist doctrine who is usually imprisoned for an infraction that is not normally deemed an offense deserving of a jail or prison sentence. 3.) Any person who is perceived as a threat to leftist ideology and thus deserving of a prison sentence. Example(s): Former border patrol agents Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos.
Procurator – Democrat attorney general.
proglib – The politically “progressive” or liberal. Take your pick, they are both similar in ideology.
puppet – A Republican who strays from his/her party and sides with Democrats. Example: Arlen Specter is a puppet of the Politburo. By association, he would be considered Commissar Specter.
sarc-on, sarc/on, sarc-off, or sarc/off – Indicates the beginning and end of a sarcastic comment. Both may be used, but sarc-off or sarc/off is always used.
