Obama To The U.N. – Don’t Count On Us, Slams Israel

In today’s speech to the United Nations, our Apologist-in-Chief, President Obama told the world to basically not count on us for help, while at the same time asking for their cooperation on such matters as reducing carbon emissions, fighting infectious diseases, and opening economic policies in an effort to more actively participate in the world market. He also took the opportunity to trash Israel and elevate the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority.

“Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world’s problems alone,” Obama said.

Afterwards, Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi tried to steal the spotlight by launching into a maniacal tirade. I don’t know which speech was more entertaining. Both were equally outrageous, except that one of the speakers has a legitimate excuse for making his bloviations: He’s certifiably insane (no, it’s not Obama) [Article – 1. While I agree that other nations need to take responsibility in managing their own affairs, what makes the United States of America great is the fact that we believe in building up the individual and that each person is born with God-given talents and abilities that should not be harnessed, but rather should be encouraged to freely grow and expand.

We live in the best nation in world because we enjoy freedom and do not tolerate tyranny. Any country or people who cries out for help has a friend in the United States because at great sacrifice, we are willing to ensure others have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We have a wisely-written document in the U.S. Constitution that guarantees freedom and liberty. It is not a document of negative rights, as some misguided, ignorant people want us to believe.

President Obama continues to downgrade the United States of America in the presence of foreigners, some of whom hate us and are more than delighted to hear a head of state besmirch the object of their hatred.

Obama didn’t do Americans any favors in his speech to the U.N. We can expect more of the same from him in future addresses to the United Nations General Assembly and in dissertations given to anybody who will listen, as he visits other nations.
