Obama Tells Perry To Watch What He Says; Perry Responds
And as if the buses weren’t enough, the President who can’t properly pronounce “corpsman” (among other blunders) gives some advice to Rick Perry:
“I certainly think threatening the Fed chairman is not a good idea,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
“When you are president or running for president, you have to think about your words,” Carney said in Iowa, where Obama was on a campaign-style bus tour.
And, predictably, Perry shoots back:
“Yesterday, the President said I needed to watch what I say. I just want to respond back, if I may. Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as Governor are helping create jobs in this country. The President’s actions are killing jobs,” GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry said at a breakfast on Wednesday morning.
He’s got a point. Obama’s track record is one of job losses, not creation, and a number of verbal flubs that would have gotten a Republican ridiculed for years to come… he’s in no position to lecture Perry on anything.
