Democrats Not Lining Up Behind Obama In WV, NC.

Would you believe, a prison inmate in Texas is getting 40% of the vote in West Virginia?

Just how unpopular is President Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas is getting four out of 10 votes in West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary.

The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Texas for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999.

With 93 per cent of precincts reporting, Obama was receiving just under 60 per cent of the vote to Judd’s 40 per cent.

It should be obvious to anyone with a reasonable number of functioning brain cells that when a sitting President can only get 60% of the vote in a party primary against a prison inmate in a different state, that President has a real problem on his hands.

And, in related news, in North Carolina, Obama lost a little over 20% of the vote to “No Preference.” This is another sign that this President isn’t even exciting Democrats!

James Carville is trying to wake up an overconfident Democratic Party to the fact that they could lose this election, and this election result might just help with that. However, I’d prefer that they stay overconfident and keep making mistakes.

West Virginia went for McCain in 2008, so it’s not like Obama is losing any Electoral College votes there. That said, their primary pretty much puts the lie to the notion that people like him.

Very true, but this was a Democratic primary (I’m not sure if WV has closed primaries or not, I’ll look into that, tho), so losing 40% of the Democratic vote is a big issue.

Update: As of 2008, WV’s Democratic primary was open only to registered Democrats and Independents. Still looking to see if that’s changed in the mean time.

Oh, everyone knows those WV redneck inbreds are racist!

May be the Dems want him to lose?

Since he’s in the White House, the Dems lost big in Congress. They tried their darnest to defend the indefensibles. Even the most gullibles have wisen up.

To Pelosi, an umemployment check stimulates the economy, to the unemployed who lost their houses, whose kids moved back in, an unemployment check couldn’t stimulate them from hoplelessness.

After three years, even his staunchest supporters blush when he blames everything bad on Bush. With him gone, they can reset their blame game and blame Romney. The gullibles will return to the fold and vote them back in.

They’re overconfident because they know they’re going to win.
Election? Hahahahaha! With all the voter fraud, if every single person in the US except the President and his family voted for Romney, he’d STILL only manage ‘48%’. They will manufacture enough, ‘disqualify’ enough, throw out enough military overseas ballots, and flat out cheat enough to win again.

    And again.

    And again.
