Obama Staffer Gets Inspiration From Mao Tse Tung?

White House communications director Anita Dunn, who recently acted as proxy of the Obama administration by making what was tantamount to a declaration of war on Fox News, has particularly chosen one rather infamous individual as an object of her admiration:

For those of you who don’t know your world history, Mao Tse Tung became the leader of communist China. He didn’t just repudiate dissenters, he eliminated them. He murdered millions of people—anybody who opposed him or who were perceived to be a threat to and/or enemy of the “community” or “state”. He claimed to be doing what he did for the greater good of the “community” or “collective” of his country. The freedoms and liberties we have enjoyed and presently enjoy in the United States were non-existent in Mao’s China. Although the government of China has eased up on a fraction of their draconian policies, the people of China are still not free, as we would define it. Why would  their government constantly be cited for human rights violations, if they were truly free?

Is one of the most hideous, vile and detestable individuals in human history a person to be respected or admired? Why does Ms. Dunn find Mao Tse Tung to be a source of inspiration? I find it almost sacrilegious that she actually mentions him in the same breath as Mother Teresa. In fact, the two were polar opposites on a grand scale. Leaders like Mao despised people like Mother Teresa. They despised religion and viewed it as “the opium of the people”.

Ms. Dunn invalidates her feelings about Mother Teresa with the praise she gives to Chairman Mao. Did both of their philosophies have valid points that could somehow be extracted, combined and put into application? Mother Teresa’s life was that of love, kindness, mercy, charity and compassionate care. What good ever came from communism? Is oppression good? What good comes from cruelty and mass murder? Why would Ms. Dunn choose Mao Tse Tung’s political philosophy as one to emulate, if she does not share at least some of the same political beliefs as Mao? Wouldn’t that imply that she resides in whole or in part, on the same ideological plane as Tung? Which ideology would that be [Article – Anita Dunn: Mao Tse Tung Fan?]?

Remember, if you want to discover the direction Obama’s policies are taking, look at the people whom he surrounds himself with (his words, not ours).

And The Winner Is…President Barack Obama?!?!

I thought I hadn’t awakened from my sleep and was still dreaming when I heard that our most highly esteemed potentate and savior of the world, President Barack Hussein Obama, had won the Nobel Peace Prize [Article – Obama says he’ll accept Nobel as ‘call to action’].

President Obama was gracious in his acceptance speech. He had the same feeling of shock and surprise that millions upon millions of people experienced when it was announced that he had won the Nobel Peace Prize. He acknowledged that he was not deserving of the prize and didn’t view the award “as a recognition of my own accomplishments,” but rather as a recognition of goals he has set for the U.S. and the world. Mr. Obama said, “I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many transformative figures that have been honored by this prize.” But, he said, “I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century.”

What accomplishments? Community organizing? Being a state senator? Performing the duties of a U.S. Senator for the sum total of two years? Talking about hope and change? By transformative figures, I am guessing that President Obama is excluding the late bloodthirsty terrorist Yasser Arafat. It should give us all a warm fuzzy that Obama is accepting the award as a “call to action”. ACORN Suspends Advising Clients

Being mired in accusations and allegations of criminal activity, ACORN has suspended advising clients until after an independent review is completed.

ACORN’s chief executive Bertha Lewis stated that she was “ordering a halt to any new intakes into ACORN’s service programs until completion of an independent review.” She further stated:

“ACORN’s independent Advisory Council will help select an independent auditor/reviewer no later than September 18th to review all of the systems and processes called into question by the videos.”

Who are the members of ACORN’s Advisory Council?

The Advisory Council includes John Podesta, president of the liberal Center for American Progress; Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, a former lieutenant governor of Maryland; Andrew Stern, international president of Service Employees International Union; Henry Cisneros, a former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; John Banks, vice president of Government Relations Con Ed; and Eric Eve, senior vice president of Global Consumer Group, Community Relations, of Citigroup.

Gosh, golly, gee…their decisions aren’t going to be partial and biased. ACORN is stalling for time to regroup and perform damage control operations. It is a powerful organization and they aren’t going to let little things like corruption and scandal to stop them from furthering their various Marxist agendas [Article – 1. Wade Rathke Defends ACORN – Blasts Conservatives And Fox News

Wade Rathke, ACORN’s co-founder and former chief organizer, blasts conservatives and Fox News for “unfair” coverage of and said to “be careful and fair about how it looks at the organization’s work.” Fox News reports:

Rathke has repeatedly blasted the news media and conservative groups for intentionally targeting ACORN because of its progressive agenda. In a posting on his “Chief Organizer Blog,” Rathke said the Census Bureau’s decision to break ties with ACORN showed “how willing the Obama administration is open to a cave-in to the conservatives on false pretenses on a completely fake ‘issue.'”

“This is all just more reputational McCarthyism as the rightwing and Republicans attack ACORN,” he wrote.

That’s the problem. The news coverage and investigations are truthful and fair—that’s what is driving Rathke and those like him absolutely nuts. ACORN Investigation In San Bernardino: Shocking Footage And Admission By ACORN Worker

Yet another undercover investigation by James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles involving child prostitution. This time they went to the left coast: San Bernardino, California. Is there any different advice given by the workers there? Let’s find out:

Wow! Shocking! The information does not change. It’s the same advice and much, much more for Mr. O’Keefe and Miss Giles. I guess it’s not an “east coast thing”. Tresa Kaelke, the ACORN worker in the video and being a former prostitute herself, empathizes with the “prostitute” portrayed by Hannah Giles. She is so understanding and helpful, being a free-thinking product of the 60s generation. She also freely discloses all of the politicians (even listing them by name) she lobbies for. Oh, but she doesn’t stop there. She goes on to reveal little tidbits about her past life and being married to an abusive husband, detailing that she…killed…him…in self-defense…. Read More…

ACORN Investigations: Doing The Job The Mainstream Media Won’t Do

The recent stings launched against several offices of the “community organizing” group ACORN [Article – ACORN’s Lawless Ways] has proven this: How inept and ineffective the so-called “mainstream” media really is.

UPDATE:

When you have people who aren’t even journalists or journalism graduates doing the work that the “mainstream” media won’t do, it proves that the “mainstream”, “state-run” media outlets or as I would like to call it, the “MIA” (Media In Absentia) outlets are obsolete and irrelevant [Article – ACORN Story Grows But Mainstream Media Refuse to Cover It].
