North Korea Threatens To Invalidate 1953 Armistice

The North Korean government has made similar threats in the past in an effort to get something they want. However, judging from North Korea’s recent missile launches and nuclear tests, it appears they may be ready to make good on this most recent threat. The U.S. official response is one of skepticism. “North Korea continues to isolate itself. Threats and bluster will not get North Korea the attention and respect it craves,” says one senior White House official.
